How will the activity panel help my baby develop?

The big buttons on the activity panel allow baby to interact with the TV and direct their own learning experience. Younger babies (approx. 12 months) will start to try out new ways of playing with or manipulating objects. They will become more active and demonstrate a more purposeful and experimental way of interacting with the world. As baby develops (approx. 18 months onwards) they begin to use symbols to represent objects or events. They begin to understand that the symbol is separate from the object. The combination of the activity panel and the activities on screen cater for these changes as baby develops by increasing the level of discovery and exploration within the activities.
